Senior Manager_IT & Infrastructure (For a Local Group of Companies)

Main Responsibilities

Provide training for the IT team to ensure technical proficiency and career growth.
Oversee resource allocation, performance reviews, and day-to-day operational management.
Design and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure to support business operations.
Manage system uptime and availability, ensuring high levels of reliability and scalability.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures for disaster recovery, business continuity, and system backups.
Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, including deployment, upgrades, and new technology implementations.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including hardware, software, and service providers.
Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with business priorities.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT infrastructure performance and incident management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing IT infrastructure, systems, and networks.
Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, etc.), firewalls, load balancing, and routing.
Familiarity with enterprise applications, databases, and monitoring tools.
Hands-on experience with system monitoring tools and ITSM platforms (eg. ServiceNow).
