Sales Manager_Agency Sales Channel (For a Well-Established Insurance Company)

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of insurance agents to build a productive and motivated salesforce.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to agents on life insurance products, sales techniques, and compliance guidelines.
  • Set clear performance goals for the agency team and implement effective tracking and evaluation processes.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market penetration in assigned territories.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to optimize sales approaches.
  • Foster strong relationships with agents to ensure sustained motivation and retention of top talent.
  • Support agents in customer acquisition by assisting in client meetings, presentations, and closing of sales.
  • Ensure exceptional service quality and build lasting client relationships to foster trust and increase policy renewals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client needs and life insurance product offerings to suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly report sales performance, key metrics, and market feedback to senior management.
  • Handle any escalations related to agent performance, client issues, or compliance violations.

Requirements

  • Graduate with decent pass percentage.
  • Should Speak/Read/Write English.
  • Working experience in Sales is preferably financial products is an advantage.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and training skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Train and motivate agents to provide a better understanding of market/products.
  • Monitor and review agents’ performance. Help them achieve maximum business.
  • Meet customers for achieving channel/agent targets.

Other Information

  • Salary: MMK 1,000,000 ~ 1,500,000 + Incentive
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM)
  • Off Days: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
  • Working Location: Yangon (Junction City Office), Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Mawlamyine.
