Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying team to achieve project and business objectives.
- Oversee cost planning, budgeting, Bills of Quantities, and project cost estimates.
- Provide cost advice, value engineering, and financial feasibility analysis.
- Manage tendering, procurement, subcontractor selection, and contract administration.
- Review and approve payment certificates, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and implement effective cost control measures.
- Maintain cost databases and develop standardized estimation and reporting tools.
- Mentor team members and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- RICS membership or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of QS experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in large-scale construction or real estate development projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, cost estimation, procurement, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Excellent English communication, commercial drafting, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Other Information
- Salary: MMK 3,500,000 + Ferry Provided
- Working Day: Monday to Saturday Half Day (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Off Days: Saturday Half Day, Sunday & Public Holidays
- Working Location: Yankin Township, Yangon.
