QA Specialist_IT (For an Int'l Insurance Company)

Key Responsibilities

Review business and functional requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases for system enhancements and new projects.
Execute system, integration, and regression testing across multiple platforms.
Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution.
Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
Ensure quality standards are met before system deployment.
Perform post-deployment validation (smoke testing) and support issue analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall system quality.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the SDLC and testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience designing and executing test cases.
Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing is a plus.
Understanding of insurance processes (policy lifecycle, claims, premium) is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
High attention to detail and quality mindset.
