Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily seafood prices at jetty and local markets
• Purchase fresh seafood directly from suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and owners
• Inspect seafood quality, freshness, and hygiene standards before purchase
• Negotiate prices to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Arrange transportation and ensure timely delivery to factory
• Coordinate with production and QA/QC teams
• Maintain daily purchase records and reports

Requirements

• Any graduate (Business, Supply Chain or related field)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in seafood purchasing / jetty buying
• Good knowledge of seafood types and quality standards
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Able to work early morning and in outdoor environments and market visits
• Knowledge of seafood or FMCG is an advantage
Willing to travel (jetty/site visits)

Other Information

• Salary: MMK 800,000 + Accommodation + Ferry & Meal Provided
• Working Day: Monday to Friday, Saturday Alternate (8:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM)
• Off Days: Saturday Alternate, Sundays & Public Holidays
• Working Location: Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Yangon.
