Procurement Executive (For a Local Group of Companies)

Job Descriptions

Identify reliable suppliers for rice packaging items in direct and indirect.
Develop, maintain, and expand a network of vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and high- quality products.
Negotiate contracts terms, including pricing, delivery, and payment terms with suppliers.
Conduct market research to stay updated on market trends, pricing, and product availability.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of exported.
Ensure smooth coordination with vendors, shipping agents, and internal departments to avoid delays.
Perform vendor audits and evaluations to maintain a pool of high-quality suppliers.
Develop strategies to mitigate supply risks and ensure consistent quality of materials.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality certifications, and industry regulations for rice.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum [4] years of experience in procurement (Direct & Indirect), preferably in the food or agricultural commodities industry.
Experience in rice exports is highly preferred.
Must be knowledge of supply chain, import/export regulations, and customs procedures.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Intermediate skill for English spoken & writing
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
