Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipment processes and communicate requirements between sellers and customers
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and agents for import and export operations
- Follow up and monitor shipment schedules (ETA / ETD) to ensure timely delivery
- Handle import/export customs documentation and compliance requirements
- Source and evaluate foreign suppliers and international forwarders
- Identify and develop local suppliers based on overseas demand
- Request, obtain, and compare quotations from suppliers and logistics providers
- Arrange shipments including containerized and bulk cargo
- Track shipment progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Handle delays, discrepancies, and operational issues effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in import/export, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Strong knowledge of shipping processes, customs clearance, and documentation
- Good understanding of Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, EXW, DAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Good command of English (written & spoken)
Other Information
- Salary: MMK 1,000,000 ~ 1,500,000
- Working Days : Monday to Saturday
- Off Days: Sunday & Public Holidays
- Working Location : Kamayut Township, Yangon.
