Logistics Assistant (For a Foreign Manufacturing Company)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare proforma invoice and sale contract and send to the customers for approval
  • Communicate with customers to ensure the draft shipping documents are in line with their requirements
  • Maintain systematic filing for original shipping documents such as (Bill of Lading, Packing list and or Marine Insurance) in Cloud Server
  • Communicate with operation team, collaborate with logistics partner to check delivery schedule and inform customers accordingly
  • Prepare required documents to submit transportation insurance and coordinate with insurance company
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure sufficient insurance deposits for upcoming shipments
  • Apply for export licenses via TradeNet and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management field.
  • Prior experience in logistics field and sound knowledge of shipping methods and Myanmar Custom
  • Proficiency in Email, Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and MS teams
  • Intermediate level of English communication skills (written and spoken)

Other Information

  • Salary: MMK 700,000 ~ 1,000,000 + Bonus
  • Working Days : Monday to Friday (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)
  • Off Days: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
  • Working Location : Hlaing Township, Yangon.
