Logistics Supervisor (For an International Company)

Responsibilities

Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and improve eﬃciency.
Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and optimization of storage space.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
Coordinate and optimize freight activities, including routing, consolidation, and mode of transportation.
Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively address any potential delays or issues.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation procedures.
Coordinate with customs brokers and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth customs clearance of imported and exported goods.
Set performance goals, provide guidance and feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in logistics operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related ﬁeld.
Proven experience in logistics operations
Familiar with matrix organization.
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
Proﬁciency Google Suite, Microsoft package & system related to logistic ﬁeld.
Able to speak and write Burmese and English at a professional level.
