Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures.
- Conduct testing of raw materials (grains, rice, molasses, yeast, water).
- Monitor fermentation parameters (pH, temperature, gravity, alcohol %).
- Perform distillate analysis (ABV, congeners, methanol levels, impurities).
- Manage daily laboratory activities and workflows.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments (GC, HPLC, spectrophotometer, densitometer, pH meter).
- Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and traceability.
- Supervise laboratory technicians and analysts.
- Train staff on SOPs, testing methods, and safety procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Support product development and new formulation trials.
- Ensure adherence to chemical handling and hazardous waste disposal standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience of Manager role.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of fermentation science and distillation processes.
Other Information
- Salary: MMK 2,500,000 + Other Allowances
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Off Days: Sunday & Public Holidays
- Working Location: Shwe Pyi Thar Township, Yangon.
