Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end setup and execution of Trading’s UCO export
operations from Myanmar - Identify, qualify, and onboard local collectors, aggregators, restaurants, food manufacturers, and intermediaries
- Establish commercial relationships with international UCO buyers (biodiesel, HVO, SAF markets)
- Design and implement UCO collection, storage, pre-treatment, and loading processes
- Establish quality standards in line with international buyer requirements (FFA, MIU, moisture, contaminants, traceability, etc.)
- Oversee sampling, testing, documentation, and cargo approval prior to export
- Ensure full compliance with local Myanmar regulations, export requirements, and customs procedures
- Manage sustainability certifications and traceability systems (e.g. ISCC, ISCC EU, ISCC Plus or equivalent)
- Implement supplier onboarding, audit, and compliance procedures
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, surveyors, inspectors, and shipping lines
- Manage export documentation, including COAs, sustainability documents, and contracts
- Build, train, and lead a local UCO operations team in Myanmar
- Provide regular reporting on volumes, margins, risks, and growth opportunities
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Agriculture, or related
field preferred - Minimum 5–10 years of direct experience in the Used Cooking Oil (UCO) industry
- Proven track record in UCO sourcing, aggregation, processing, or export trading
- Strong understanding of international UCO quality specs, buyer requirements, and sustainability standards
- Deep knowledge of UCO quality parameters, testing, and logistics
- Familiarity with ISCC or equivalent sustainability certification systems
- Expatriate professional willing to be hands-on and operational, not just strategic
- Fluency in English required; additional regional language skills are a plus
- Based in Myanmar, with frequent travel within the country
- Occasional international travel for buyer meetings and audit
