Construction Director_Industrial Building (For a Well-Established Local Group of Companies)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all construction activities related to refinery and infrastructure development, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Monitor and control construction progress, quality, safety, and cost, implementing corrective actions as necessary to meet project milestones.
  • Manage and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and coordination across all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety protocols, legal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards in construction work, ensuring compliance with design specifications and engineering standards.
  • Oversee refinery start-up activities, including commissioning, testing, and initial operations, ensuring a smooth transition from construction to operational phases.
  • Manage the construction of supporting infrastructure such as utilities, access roads, storage tanks, and other facilities essential for refinery operation.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, delays, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and project management teams, as well as with clients and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery construction, with significant involvement in refinery startup and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of refinery process facilities, infrastructure, and construction best practices.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale industrial or refinery construction projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deep understanding of safety standards, quality assurance processes, and environmental regulations.

Other Information

  • Salary: MMK 8,000,000 ~ 12,000,000 + Attractive Remuneration Package
  • Working Days : Monday to Saturday (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
  • Off Days: Sunday & Public Holidays
  • Working Location : Thanlyin Township, Yangon. (Ferry Provided)
