Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and reconcile gold, diamond, and jewellery inventory.
- Perform regular stock reconciliation with showroom and warehouse records.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and submit GST / VAT filings and tax reports.
- Manage customs documentation and export/import financial records.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
- Implement strong internal control systems to prevent fraud or pilferage.
- Establish stock verification procedures for high-value inventory.
- Maintain segregation of duties within the accounting department.
- Monitor financial transactions through ERP and accounting systems.
- Manage gold metal loans and financing facilities.
- Oversee LC (Letter of Credit) and BG (Bank Guarantee) documentation for import/export activities.
Job Requirements
- B.Com or M.Com in Accounting or Finance
- CA / CPA / ACCA (preferred)
- Minimum 8-15 years of accounting experience, preferably in jewellery, retail, or manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
- Experience in inventory valuation and cost accounting
- Knowledge of Metal / jewellery accounting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Other Information
- Salary: Up to MMK 2,500,000 + Allowances (Attendance & OT)
- Working Days: Tuesday to Saturday (9:00 AM ~ 6:00 PM)
- Off Days: Monday
- Working Location: Pabedan Township, Yangon.
