Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance inspection and calibration of laboratory instruments and machines as per the plan schedule.
- Conduct daily routine process control and monitoring water treatment and sewage treatment processes quality.
- Conduct water analysis with the team for daily, monthly and yearly analysis schedule.
- Conduct monthly inventory of operation & lab chemicals and laboratory spare parts and report to the team leader.
- Conduct annual routine sampling and analysis of surface water and dehydrate sludge for environmental requirements.
- Perform weekly inspections of internal regulations on site for locators and report to the team leader.
- Prepare and submit purchasing request for laboratory requirements and report to the team leader.
- Prepare and submit purchasing requisition for calibration services, disposal and analysis services.
- Perform updates and report to section leader for laboratory equipment work instructions and flowcharts.
- Prepare and submit monthly summary reports of laboratory water analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineer (BE)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Chemical engineer in water treatment or production.
- Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge/experience in analytical chemistry, methods, principles and laboratory practices.
- Fluent in bout written and spoken English and Myanmar.
Other Information
- Salary: MMK 1,000,000 + Ferry Provided
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Off Days: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
- Working Location: Thilawa Special Economic Zone.
