Area Sales Manager (For a Well-Established Distribution Company)

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales team to achieve daily, monthly, and yearly volume and value targets in the assigned area.
  • Regularly visit the market to monitor stocks, shelf space (merchandising), and competitor activities.
  • Supervise local distributors to ensure adequate stock levels, timely delivery, and credit management.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Representatives or Van Sales. Identify and open new retail outlets to increase numeric distribution.
  • Submit weekly/monthly sales reports, market feedback, and inventory status to the NSM.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, and in a supervisory role (FMCG background preferred).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and territorial planning skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and mobile sales apps (SFA).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Other Information

  • Salary: MMK 1,500,000
  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
  • Off Days: Sunday & Public Holidays
  • Working Location: Bahan Township, Yangon.
