Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a full set of accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with company policy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage inter-company transactions.
Assist the Chief Accountant in the month-end closing process by preparing necessary journal entries and schedules. - Ensure the accuracy of the trial balance and assist in preparing schedules for the annual audit.
- Track and analyze production costs, including raw material receiving, processing labor, and packaging.
- Perform regular physical stock counts and reconcile them against the accounting system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the fish export or food processing industry is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage GL, AR, AP, and Inventory.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (competent with $SUMIFS$, Pivot Tables, and lookups for data reconciliation).
- Solid understanding of manufacturing/processing costing principles.
Other Information
- Salary: MMK 1,300,000 + Accommodation + Ferry & Meal Provided
- Working Day: Monday to Friday, Saturday Alternate (8:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM)
- Off Days: Saturday Alternate, Sundays & Public Holidays
- Working Location: Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Yangon.
