-Usually report to the BOD of the organization.
-Responsible for current accounting standards and federal and state regulatory requirements, and sometimes the audits that is necessary to ensure compliance.
-Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
-Account analysis and reconciliation, to include bank statements, inter-company general ledger accounts and
-Balance sheet accounts.
-Knowledge and experience of accounting computer applications.
-Bachelor’s or higher certificate in Accounting or Finance
-Strong understanding of accounting theory
-5+ years accounting/finance experience; CPA a plus, but not required
-Experience in the Hotel industry preferred
-Highly detail oriented and organized in work
-Ability to meet assigned deadlines
