Senior Purchasing Executive (For a Foreign Interior Design Company)

Job Descriptions

Working with suppliers & internal employees to ensure that key processes are running efficiently & cost-efficiently.
Create an organized Bill of Quantities for the various ongoing projects & ensure they are always up to date.
Search for reliable local/international suppliers & have an understanding about material usage.
Must be able to time manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs during the duration of projects.
Maintain relationships with local & overseas suppliers.
Handly any/all documentation needed related to delivery by truck, ship, or air freight.
To work with junior executives & be able to nurture & support them.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years’ experience needed or Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil) or any graduate in Engineering & Interior Design preferred.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English & Myanmar language.
Proficient in MS Office & have good presentation skills.
Knowledgeable in interior design & construction is preferred.
Must be proactive & work independently.
Must be able to work under pressure.
