Senior Graphic Designer(For a Leading Recreational Services Group of Companies)

Job Descriptions

  • Develop creative concepts and designs for print and digital materials, including signage, flyers, banners, advertisements, social media graphics, website assets, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, education, events, and exhibit departments to ensure that design solutions meet project objectives and brand standards.
  • Provide art direction and guidance to junior designers or external vendors as needed, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Conduct photo shoots and source imagery to support design projects, ensuring visual assets are compelling and appropriate for target audiences.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns, events, and exhibit experiences.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation, including version control and asset libraries, to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans and initiatives to promote the zoo and gardens, increase visitor engagement, and drive revenue.
  • Represent the zoo and gardens brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, both internally and externally, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within a zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, or similar cultural institution.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, with an emphasis on print and digital media.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of environmental conservation, wildlife biology, or related fields is a plus.

Other information

  • Salary: MMK 800,000 (Meal Allowance & Ferry Provided)
  • Working day: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
  • Off Days: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
  • Work Location: Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township
