Senior Graphic Designer(For a Leading Recreational Services Group of Companies)

Job Descriptions

Develop creative concepts and designs for print and digital materials, including signage, flyers, banners, advertisements, social media graphics, website assets, and promotional materials.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, education, events, and exhibit departments to ensure that design solutions meet project objectives and brand standards.
Provide art direction and guidance to junior designers or external vendors as needed, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
Conduct photo shoots and source imagery to support design projects, ensuring visual assets are compelling and appropriate for target audiences.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns, events, and exhibit experiences.
Maintain organized files and documentation, including version control and asset libraries, to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration.
Support the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans and initiatives to promote the zoo and gardens, increase visitor engagement, and drive revenue.
Represent the zoo and gardens brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, both internally and externally, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the community.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within a zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, or similar cultural institution.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, with an emphasis on print and digital media.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of environmental conservation, wildlife biology, or related fields is a plus.
