Procurement Manager (For a Foreign Interior Decoration Company)

Responsibilities

Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, both locally and internationally.
Identify new vendors and suppliers to expand options for materials, furniture, and services.
Define and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s project needs and budget.
Collaborate with project teams, interior designers, and construction teams to understand procurement requirements.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms.
Monitor and manage costs to ensure procurement remains within the approved budget.
Collaborate with the logistics company to ensure smooth and timely delivery of materials and products to project sites.
Implement systems for tracking and managing procurement orders and deliveries.
Ensure all purchased materials and services comply with the company’s quality standards.
Maintain proper documentation for all procurement transactions.
Use data analytics to drive decision-making and continuously improve the procurement process.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil) or any relevant field; a degree in Engineering or Interior Design is preferred.
Minimum 5 years ’experience in procurement or a related role.
Familiarity with interior design and construction is preferred.
Excellent knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain operations.
Proficiency in written and verbal communication in both English and Myanmar languages.
Ability to work proactively and independently.
Must be able to work effectively under pressure.
