Procurement Assistant (For a Local Group of Companies)

Job Descriptions

  • Identify and research potential local suppliers for goods and services.
  • Obtain and compare quotes from multiple vendors.
  • Create and process purchase orders according to company procedures.
  • Liaise with internal department and suppliers to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and documentation.
  • Assist with preparing and processing invoices and payments.
  • Perform other administrative tasks assigned by the Procurement team.

Requirements

  • Any graduate or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, ideally with a focus on local sourcing.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Office. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of local procurement regulations and compliance procedures. Knowledge of the local market and its suppliers.

Other information

  • Salary: Negotiable
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
  • Off Days: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
  • Working Location: MICT park; Yangon
