Responsibilities
- Review project drawings, AutoCAD files, and 3D models to count and identify required loose and built-in furniture pieces.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project requirements and design plans.
- Ensure all BOQs align with the overall procurement budget and project specifications.
- Assist in coordinating between procurement, design, and project management teams to ensure accuracy in furniture orders.
- Update the Procurement Manager on changes in furniture quantities or specifications based on revised drawings or client feedback.
- Assist the Procurement Manager in communicating with logistics companies and follow up on furniture delivery schedules.
- Maintain proper documentation for all procurement-related activities, including BOQs, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.
- Assist in preparing reports for the Procurement Manager on furniture orders, quantities, and costs.
- Ensure that all furniture items meet the company’s quality standards before procurement.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies in quantities, quality, or design.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the interior design, construction, or furniture industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting AutoCAD, 3D models, and design drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and quantifying materials.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and preparing BOQs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant design software.
Other information
- Salary: MMK 700,000 ~ 1,000,000
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Off Days: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
- Working Location: Sanchaung Township, Yangon.
