- Brainstorm and execute comprehensive PR and communication strategies that align with the brand’s goals and objectives in the fashion and lifestyle industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, including fashion journalists, bloggers, editors, talents and influencers.
- Identify and initiate partnerships and collaborations with relevant brands, celebrities, artists, professionals and organizations to expand the brand’s reach and visibility.
- Build and nurture relationships with business partners who worked or possibly work with us for commercial campaigns or collaborations, celebrities, professional artists, growing local brand owners and professionals in fashion and art industry.
- Prepare contract and agreement between the brand and talents or outsource for public relation activities.
- Monitor the talents and rookies’ activities and control the contents from them to be on the right track with the brand.
- Manage the photo shoot of the brand by working with external crew or talents within the designated budget with team leader.
- Distribute brand stories, product stories, and events to secure media coverage across print, online, and broadcast platforms as needed. Create compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials that effectively communicate the brand’s key messages, product information, and event details.
- Explore and attend PR events, fashion shows, product launches, press previews, and influencer collaborations related to the fashion and art industry and build relationship with artists and related persons.
- Stay up-to-date with fashion, lifestyle & art industry news, trends, and competitor activities.
- Monitor the publicity of brand both in positive image and in negative image, media coverage, and provide regular reports on brand mentions and industry insights.
- Collaborate with the internal Marketing team to align PR efforts with online or offline campaigns and ensure consistent brand messaging and image across all platforms.
- Track and analyses PR and communication efforts and campaigns and measure the effectiveness of campaigns and media coverage and provide reports and insights to superiors.
- Assist in managing the PR and communication budget, including tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective strategies.
- A bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field is typically required.
- Strong understanding of the fashion and lifestyle industry, including trends, key players, and media landscape.
- Previous experience in public relations, communication, or related roles, preferably within the fashion and lifestyle industry. Familiarity with media relations, event management, and crisis communication is essential.
- Established relationships with fashion journalists, editors, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging press releases, and other communication materials.
- Ability to develop innovative PR and communication ideas, identify unique story angles, and create compelling narratives for media coverage.
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities to manage multiple PR initiatives, events, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience in handling PR crises and effectively managing communications during crisis.
- Salary: 500,000 MMK
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Working Location: Sanchaung Township, Yangon
