Responsibilities
- Plan & Collect Surface water or groundwater and monitor the data to support the project or programs
- Work with Local/ State Stakeholders on water resources management
- Conduct Watershed and Water Sources Studies
- Collect and analyze meteorological and hydrological data
- Prepare various maps and figures: contour maps of groundwater/ surface water elevations, geologic structure, cross-section, isopach, water quality, and other hydrogeologic data
- Study water properties and familiar with water quality test instruments
Prepare written reports and make presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of hydrological principles, water cycle processes, and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in hydrological modeling software and geographic information systems (GIS)
- Experience in data collection methods, including fieldwork and remote sensing techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and impact assessment procedures
- Experience with water resource management, flood forecasting, or climate change impact assessment is desirable

- Salary: 1,200,000 MMK + Accommodation and Meals provided
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Off Days: Sunday & Public Holidays
- Working Location: Taunggyi
