Export Customer Service (For a Logistics Company)

Job Descriptions

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, phone, or other communication channels, providing accurate information and assistance regarding export processes, product availability, pricing, and shipment status.
  • Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services.
  • Address and resolve any complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed customer expectations.
  • Receive and process export orders, ensuring accuracy in documentation, pricing, and shipment details.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate timely order fulfillment.
  • Track shipments and address any issues that may arise during the operation process.
  • Strictly follow company’s guidelines and policies.
  • Ensure to follow company SOP.
  • Track the percentage of export documentation errors, such as inaccuracies in invoices, packing lists, or customs declarations.
  • Prepare and maintain export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, shipping labels, and customs declarations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customer requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with export regulations, trade agreements, and customs requirements to ensure legal compliance in all export transactions.
  • – Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in export operations.
  • Implement best practices and contribute to the development of standardized procedures to enhance customer service and streamline export processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Business Management.
  • Must have at least 1-3 years of experience in logistics industry (forwarder, shipping company).
  • Familiar with Myanmar market.
  • Have knowledge base in Logistics industry, international trade regulations, INCO terms, freight forwarding, comercial contract, seafreight/airfreight, logistics associations; customs procedures preferred.
  • Have good understanding about Logistics trend.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpersonal skills & presentation skills, ability to build relationships.
  • Good negotiation and communication skill; Excellent problem-solving & analysis skills.
  • Prior experience in export customer service, international sales, or logistics coordination highly desirable.
  • Good in writing and speaking English.

Other information

  • Salary: MMK 800,000
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
  • Off Days: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
  • Working Location: Botahtaung Township, Yangon
