- Supervise all the business processes that involve compliance and regulations.
- Take timely actions to ensure compliance, both with national/local laws and internal policies of the company.
- Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violantions of legal guidelines and internal policies.
- Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously.
- Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
- Draft, modify and implement company policies.
- Collaborate with corporate principles and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
- Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
- Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.
- To create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
- Responsible for oversight of compliance risk and conduction risk assessment to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Foster cross-department collaboration to actively engage with stakeholders, providing support from compliance perspective.
- To study all local policies, business partners’ related policies, agreements and ensure the operations from every department are in align with these policies and agreements.
- Provides period training for compliances related principles with sufficient knowledge.
- Constant communication and follow up with the business partners in relation to the compliance regulations.
- Due diligence and continuous monitoring of third parties by setting up policies governing third parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate employees and creating productive and positive team atmospheres.
- Proven experience as compliance manager (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations.
- Certified compliance professional is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly skilled in data analysis tools and Power Point presentation creation.
- Proficiency in English and Myanmar languages with strong written & verbal communication skills.
Other information
- Salary: MMK 2,000,000
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday (8:30AM ~ 5:30PM)
- Off Days: Sunday & Public Holidays
- Working Location: Lanmadaw Township, Yangon.
