Compliance Manager (For a Well-Established Medical Distribution Company)

Job Descriptions

  • Supervise all the business processes that involve compliance and regulations.
  • Take timely actions to ensure compliance, both with national/local laws and internal policies of the company.
  • Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violantions of legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously.
  • Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
  • Draft, modify and implement company policies.
  • Collaborate with corporate principles and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
  • Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
  • Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.
  • To create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
  • Responsible for oversight of compliance risk and conduction risk assessment to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Foster cross-department collaboration to actively engage with stakeholders, providing support from compliance perspective.
  • To study all local policies, business partners’ related policies, agreements and ensure the operations from every department are in align with these policies and agreements.
  • Provides period training for compliances related principles with sufficient knowledge.
  • Constant communication and follow up with the business partners in relation to the compliance regulations.
  • Due diligence and continuous monitoring of third parties by setting up policies governing third parties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Ability to lead, develop and motivate employees and creating productive and positive team atmospheres.
  • Proven experience as compliance manager (preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations.
  • Certified compliance professional is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly skilled in data analysis tools and Power Point presentation creation.
  • Proficiency in English and Myanmar languages with strong written & verbal communication skills.

Other information

  • Salary: MMK 2,000,000
  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday (8:30AM ~ 5:30PM)
  • Off Days: Sunday & Public Holidays
  • Working Location: Lanmadaw Township, Yangon.
