Responsibilities
- Effectively oversee the day-to-day operations of the Account Section, Cash Section, and Account Payable/Receivable Section
- Enhance the operational efficiency of employees within the Account & Finance department, ensuring accuracy in financial statement preparation, and diligently providing timely reports
- Consistently assess the work activities of employees across various sections under Chief Accountant purview and provide necessary instructions accordingly
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards mandated by the state, thereby maintaining consistency in the Company’s statistical record-keeping practices
- Oversee the meticulous management of statistical records and ensure the orderly structure of lists within the software
- Additionally, to assume responsibility for supervising the preservation of documents obtained from third parties
- Meticulously verify and endorse monthly financial reports, including the profit and loss account (Income Statement), balance sheet, and cash flow statement, ensuring their accuracy before submitting them to the Managing Director (MD) and Director
- Conduct comprehensive research and financial analysis to evaluate the performance and financial position of the business, and subsequently provide detailed reports to the Director and Managing Director (MD)
- Supervise and check the drafting of the monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement by the accountants
- Ensure daily reporting to the Managing Director and timely submission of reports to the management team
- Meticulously review and select the appropriate list title for each transaction, and subsequently verify and sign the supporting documents submitted by the accountants under the Chief Accountant
- These supporting documents may include, but are not limited to, Debit Vouchers, Credit Vouchers, Cash Transfer Notes, Other Journals, Goods Receipt/Issue Notes, Inventory Registers, Invoices, Invoice Forms, and Delivery Order Forms
Requirements
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree in commerce
- Holding CPA certification and/or passed successfully ACCA Part II qualification
- Must have minimum 5 years of experience in role of Chief Accountant
- Must be able to handle and oversee cash flow
Other Information
- Salary: 1,500,000 MMK + Ferry & Lunch provided
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday (8:30AM to 5PM)
- Off Days: Sunday & Public Holidays
- Working Location: Tharketa Township, Yangon
