Personal Assistant to Chairman (For a Well-Established Construction Materials Distribution Company)

Job Descriptions

  • Calendar Management: Arrange and manage the Chairman’s schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel plans. This involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Chairman’s time is optimized.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the Chairman and other departments, handling emails, phone calls, and other correspondence, often drafting or proofreading communications on behalf of the Chairman.
  • Travel Coordination: Organize travel arrangements, such as booking flights, accommodations, and transportation, and preparing necessary documents for business trips.
  • Meeting Preparation: Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and documents, as well as attending meetings to take notes, follow up on action items, and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Information Management: Manage and organize the Chairman’s files, documents, and databases, ensuring easy access to information when needed.
  • Problem Solving: Handle various administrative tasks and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, ensuring the Chairman’s office operates efficiently.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion, maintaining high levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Special Projects: Assist in special projects, research tasks, or ad-hoc assignments to support the Chairman’s initiatives or strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Business Administration related fields.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
  • Business level of English is preferred.
  • Excellent command of Burmese, English.
  • Additional Language Skills – Chinese would be advantage.
  • Minimum (3) years of work experience as Secretary, Executive secretary, Executive Assistant to Top management, Personal Assistant.
  • Strong organizational skill that reflects ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to details.
  • Able to work on Sunday (Flexible work hours).
  • Able to travel.
  • Able to drive a car (Just in case).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good personality, Self-motivated, Good Service-minded.

Other information

  • Salary: Up to 700,000 MMK
  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
  • Off Days: Sunday & Public Holidays
  • Working Location: Hlaing Township, Yangon
